I was the kid who would read books about films. I wanted to know how they used words to create emotion. I wanted to write like that.

With the burning desire to write stories, I made films, studied advertising and hit the boards to act in theatre. I wrote a play for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and earned a master’s degree in screenwriting.

Ten years of teaching in Japan, South Africa and Australia gave me plenty of stories to draw upon, and worked on how to tell good stories in business.

Driven to learn more about story-based copywriting, I studied blog writing, public relations writing, game design and the customer experience journey.

I started Pitch Black Studio in 2015 to offer human-centred, story-crafted copywriting to a story-hungry world, and have continued to hone my writing skills since then.

Now enriched with knowledge of Customer Experience (CX) Design, Storybrand, Behavioural Economics and human motivation, I give you the best of story content and copy writing.

My mission: To tell the story of your ideas.

Good writing brings your ideas to life, and lets people be part of your story.

I want to give people that experience. To put your products in their hands, to feel the care of your service.

So let’s hear your ideas, tell a story, let the reader want to be part of it, and give them the experience you wish them to have.

Come, let’s hear your story.
